Breakfast Club raises a lot of money

A fundraiser Wednesday night in West Kelowna with NHL goaltender Carey Price netted $161,000 for the Breakfast Club of Canada.

More than 200 people attended the private event at Mission Hill winery.

Price and his wife, Angela, have become ambassadors for the program, which supports 106 school breakfast programs in B.C. and hundreds more across the country.

All the money raised locally will stay in B.C.

Earlier in the day, the Montreal Canadiens star hosted a meet-and-greet and autograph session for fans.
